It’s time for our annual snow contest! When is the “first snowfall” in Dublin, New Hampshire, the snowy village of The Old Farmer’s Almanac? We’re giving away our new 2024 weather calendars. Guess the date!
First Snow Contest Rules
To qualify as a real snowfall, there are two conditions:
- There must be 2 inches of snow so it truly covers and blankets the ground in our yard.
- The snow must stick for at least 24 hours! (Yes, we get out the yardstick.)
As is tradition every year, the prize is the newest Almanac Weather Calendar! When the first real snow falls, we’ll pick 10 winners from all those who guessed the correct date!
